Climbers

Start in plank position, with your shoulders pressed down, and your pelvis tucked. Drive your right knee to your chest, and tuck your chin, keeping your torso and hips stable. Step back to plank and repeat on the other side. Do 15 reps on each side.

Overhead Swing

Use a kettlebell to blast off those love handles. Put your feet shoulder-width apart with the bell between them, slightly in front of you. Grab the handle with both hands and squat with your hips back. Hike the kettlebell back toward your rear end (don’t let it swing all the way behind you; it should stop a little behind your knees). Keeping your back flat and your arms straight, immediately stand up and press your hips forward, swinging the kettlebell upward until it’s overhead. As the bell begins to arc back down, bend your knees and squat, swinging it between your legs. Do 15 reps.

Side-Over Twists

Start in a side plank with your left hand on the floor and your right hand reaching to the sky. Inhale and lift your body up until it arcs while reaching your right hand overhead. On the exhale, lift your hips, twist your torso and reach your right arm behind you under your left hip. Complete 10-20 repetitions on each side.

Lateral Bend

This move is a great one to do throughout the day. Stand with your arms stretched overhead. Bend sideways, lift one knee to the side and pull your elbow to touch your knee. Straighten and repeat on the other side. Do 10 reps on each side.

Backstroke Rotation

While doing 25 reps of this move may leave you winded, it’s worth the effort. Sit on your butt and lift your feet off the ground into a boat pose with your arms stretched out in front of you. On an exhale, reach your left arm up and overhead letting your torso and head follow. Sweep your left arm along the floor as the right goes overhead and back.

Rotators

Positioning is important for this move. Start on your hands and knees with your hips and shoulders at the same level, and your knees elevated and spread wide. (You should have equal weight on all four limbs, with a flat back.) Hook your right foot over your left ankle and drop your right hip by pivoting on your left foot and aiming the hip towards your right elbow. Keep your arms locked and shoulders positioned directly over your hands throughout the movement. Return to your starting position and repeat on the right. Alternate sides and repeat 10 times.

Cut the Carbs

Exercise alone might not keep those love handles at bay, so cut out processed carbs—you know, the delicious stuff like breads, bagels, and pasta—and watch your alcohol intake.

This guy’s honeymoon was ruined in quite possibly the most awkward way EVER..

There are all kinds of ways that a honeymoon could not go quite according to plan for a newlywed couple. A missed flight here and there on your way to an exotic island could have you stuck in some random airport for a day, the suitcase that had all of your swimsuits in it could get lost, your traveler’s checks could get stolen and you have to go through the process and delay of getting new ones…

Or, your husband could get busted for PROSTITUTION.

As ironic as that sounds, it happened to a couple from the Chicago area recently. 21-year-old Mohammed Ahmed and his new bride were on their honeymoon in Orlando, when Mohammed decided to take a little stroll away from their hotel room. Naturally, after he didn’t return for some time, his wife grew concerned and called the police to report him missing. As it turns out, he was sitting in one of their holding cells, having just gotten nailed in prostitution sting that caught about ninety other people besides himself.

Needless to say, this couple probably won’t make it to their first anniversary…

The former art student, from Saransk, also had a smaller tattoo of the words “All For Love” placed above her eyebrow.

“It’s a symbol of our eternal devotion,” the woman – identified as Lesya – said of the new ink. “I’d like him to tattoo every inch of my body.”

The pair met in an online chatroom and, less than a day after meeting physically for the first time, Lesya decided to get the tattoo of her now-fiance’s name across her face. This isn’t the first time that her beau’s skills with a tattoo needle has brought international attention upon himself, though. In 2009, he was accused of tattooing 56 stars on 18-year-old Kimberley Vlaeminckin’s face when she was asleep at his Tattoo Box studio in Coutrai, Belgium.

In real life, sleeping together every night can become a lot less romantic as a relationship goes on, but the way you’re doing it might reveal something important about your relationship. According to psychologists, since people can’t fake body language when they sleep, nights are the time when people are the most honest and vulnerable, and couples fall into sleeping habits that reflect their personalities and preferences.

But don’t fret if you’re stopped the snuggling and started rolling away from each other. A new British study of 2,000 couples found that 46% of people turn away and sleep with their backs to their partners every night, and psychologists say these couples might actually have a very intimate relationship. Sleeping back to back but not touching, called the “Liberty” position (which 28% of participants did), indicates that a couple is connected but independent enough to sleep separately. The other 18% of back to back sleepers use the “Cherish” position, sleeping back to back but touching. These couples are comfortable, intimate, and relaxed with each other, and the position is common in new relationships.

“Spoons (Male)” (13%): Especially common in the few few years of a relationship or marriage, some couples sleep in this traditional position, where the guy is the big spoon, or the spoon on the outside. Here, the guy is taking the lead and protecting his lover, and the position reveals a strong sexuality and feeling of security.

“Pillow Talk” (7%): If you like to sleep face to face, you’re a couple that needs one-to-one contact and to talk in bed.

“Lovers Knot” (8%): In this position, couples lay face to face with their legs intertwined for a brief period, then separate to sleep.The couples show a loving independence by showing a sign intimacy and then separating to sleep apart.

“Spoons (Female) (5%): This time, the woman is the outside or big spoon, taking charge and protecting her guy.

“The Lovers” (4%): See “Lovers Knot” above, only the couple stays in the entwined face to face position all night. This is for new couples who can’t bear to be separated or who are born romantics.

“The Romantic” (1%): Speaking of romantic, this is the stuff of movie love scenes, where the woman sleeps with her head and arm on the man’s chest. It’s common in new or rekindled relationships.

“Superwoman” (1%): Are you a bed hog, Superwoman? Here, the woman sleeps in a stretched out star fish position and the man hangs off the bed. The guy in this couple doesn’t mind taking a secondary position and letting the woman take her space.

“Superman” (1%): Reverse the above. here, the guy likes to have his way and the woman is OK with that.

Artificial Sweeteners
In small doses (think: one teaspoon per serving), sugar is totally fine. But it gets a little dicey when you have too many artificial sweeteners. Here’s the deal: Sweeteners are way, um, sweeter than sugar, and they can reset your taste buds to crave sugary foods. As a result, you end up eating more junk. Plus, people who limit their artificial sweetener use find that they have more energy, and don’t have as many cravings.

Margarine
Most of us think it’s a healthy alternative to butter (err, guilty), but margarine has loads of trans fats, which increase your cholesterol. And it contains a lot of ingredients vs butter’s one or two. The calorie count is also similar to butter, but we tend to eat more of it because we think it’s healthier. Your best bet: Stick with small does of butter or use heart-healthy olive oil.

Soy Protein Isolate
All soy isn’t bad, but the isolate (a refined, often genetically-modified form of soy that pops up in a lot of soy-based products) resembles estrogen, which is iffy—some research has shown that it can increase the risk of cancers and infertility in women. If you want to go vegetarian, opt for veggie burgers with quinoa, chickpeas, or black beans as a base, and eat protein bars that are based on nuts and seeds. And for meat subs, go for beans, nuts, seeds, nut butters, and natural sources of soy like edamame, tofu, and tempeh.

Diet Foods
Unfortunately, “diet” or “low-fat” doesn’t mean low-calorie. Diet bars and low-fat foods like yogurts usually have more sugar, salt, and unhealthy fillers to make them taste okay. Even worse, we typically eat double the serving we should because we’re not satisfied or think that it’s okay to eat more because it’s “healthy.”

Frozen Meals
These babies are convenient (hello dinner in five minutes or less!) but are often heavily processed and filled with fat and salt. Instead of going this route, make a big meal (like a yummy soup or stew) at home when you have some downtime, portion it out, and freeze the servings. Frozen fruits and veggies are okay, too, as long as you look for options without added sauces or salt.

Crack addicts, get excited.

Brazil is gearing up for the “Miss Bum Bum” pageant, a nationwide contest to find the best butt in the country.

The nation’s cutest derriere will be chosen out of 27 competitors, one from each of Brazil’s Federative Units. Online voting will determine 15 finalists, who will travel to São Paolo in November for the “grand finale.”

“[Brazilians] definitely have a thing with butts,” said Brazilian Graciela Murano, writer and editor for Oddee, noting that “bumbum” is the word most commonly used in Brazil to refer to someone’s rear end.

In her country, the 30-year-old says, most people know about the competition, but like to pretend that they’re not interested.

In reality, though, “Every woman has read about it and won’t admit it,” she said, “and every man’s dream is to be a part of the judging team.”

The 24-year-old walked the runway for Pin Up Stars today wearing skimpy bikinis and sky-high heels — not exactly your typical maternity wear. We’re kind of amazed at how she’s able to balance in those shoes, look fabulous and do the sexy swimwear justice while so far along. (We suspect she’s been taking pregnancy style advice from fellow pregnant model Camila Alves.)

Even though Raffaella looked flawless, the Italian showgirl hasn’t had the easiest time since her baby news broke. Her rocky relationship with footballer Mario Balotelli, the father of the baby, culminated in dueling public statements from both parties and Mario’s demand of a paternity test. Well, at least the future mom can look forward to a baby and increased attention for her modeling skills. You go, girl!
