WHAT'S HAPPENING

HOI Happenings

June 19- June 25, 2017:

Lots of fun and cool events are going on this weekend and into next week that Amanda at KISS wants to tell you about!

Peoria Riverfront Market, Every Saturday until September 30, 2017:

Every Saturday morning, from 8 a.m. to noon, the Peoria Riverfront Market is taking place. Local produce, meats, cheeses, breads, flowers, local art, live music and more will be happening in the 200 block of Water Street. The market comes back May 20th and runs all the way until September 30th. Take advantage of it while you can! Click here for more information!

World Giraffe Day, Wednesday, June 21, 2017:

Now, we’ve established my love for animals. Dogs, pigs, bunnies… you name it, I love it! Giraffes are one of my FAVORITE animals, and this Wednesday is World Giraffe Day! It’s celebrated during the June Solstice, which is the longest day of the year. Fitting right? The only place you can see a giraffe around here is at the Peoria Zoo, and their throwing them a party from 11 am to 2 pm and you’re all invited! For more information, click here.
